About Me and My Jewellery |
Artist Statement:
This art has a mesmerising effect on me. I am enchanted by it. Is it the magical qualities of the medium that keeps me fascinated and keen to learn more? Or am I just addicted to the flame? Either which way, something drives me to spend every available hour creating little delights out of rods of glass and balls of silver clay, becoming ever absorbed in the ever-changing patterns and colours, how the impossible can become the possible, the surprises one finds that take your breath away.
I only use quality findings and wires. These include sterling and fine silver and vermeil and gold filled. I believe in making art jewellery that will last and be enjoyed for a very long time.
I enjoy using my teaching skills to share my love of art jewellery. Regular classes are held in jewellery making, lampwork bead making and precious metal clay. Please contact me for details.
